Located in the northwestern sector of Aruzio, the PAAC Headquarters serves as a monumental institution for animal care and advocacy. Its presence is both subtle and commanding—an elegant, multi-story brick and glass building set against the backdrop of the city’s calm, civic architecture. While from the front it appears like a typical administrative structure, the PAAC hides an immense, compassionate mission behind its doors.

Exterior Overview

The front of the building is marked by symmetrical windows, a prominent PAAC insignia, and soft decorative motifs of various animals. However, its true essence lies behind: a sprawling, concealed sanctuary field, accessible only through the building itself. This field—lush, diverse, and expansive—is where many of Aruzio’s rescued or unreleasable animals find a permanent home.

Interior Layout by Floor

First Floor – Reception, Intake & Sanctuary Access:The welcoming reception is filled with warm lighting, animal portraits, and calm seating. It includes the public intake zone, emergency entry space for rescues, and wide glass exits leading into the Healing Fields at the rear.
Second Floor – Grooming Services & Ethical Pet Store:A semi-public space where grooming services are provided for both rescued and community pets. A boutique-style pet store sells sustainable, cruelty-free pet goods and reinvests all proceeds into PAAC’s mission.
Third Floor – Veterinary Medical Center:A high-tech veterinary clinic with surgical rooms, diagnostics, and quarantine areas. New arrivals are treated here and monitored before integration into the sanctuary or public adoption programs.
Fourth Floor – Administrative Operations:Offices for PAAC’s organizational backbone—coordinators, outreach teams, legal advisers, and campaign strategists. This floor governs rescue missions, animal rights efforts, and citywide education campaigns.
Fifth Floor – Research & Education Division:The top level hosts research labs and classrooms used to study animal behavior, treatment methods, and ecological preservation. It also provides community education programs, youth outreach, and volunteer training workshops. Guest speakers and animal experts frequently visit this floor for lectures or exhibitions.

The Healing Fields (Rear Sanctuary Grounds):

Accessible only through the building’s secure back entrance, the Healing Fields stretch far beyond what city streets reveal. Designed as a biodiverse safe haven, it includes:
